Providing Counselling and Psychotherapy, Supervision and Training
Thank you for visiting my website
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Accredited EMDR Therapist and Learning and Development Consultant. My work as a Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor and Adult Educator/ Trainer spans over twenty-five years. My practice is wholly committed to supporting survivors of complex trauma, with a focus on domestic violence, coercive control and grief.

How I help
I offer a compassionate, person-centered, and trauma-informed approach to therapy, drawing on a range of evidence-based modalities including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). My work encompasses areas such as post-traumatic stress, grief and loss, addiction, child protection, domestic violence, and mental health — always tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.
In addition to my therapeutic work, I provide clinical supervision to individuals and groups, and have delivered professional development training to many professionals across various sectors. I also work in partnership with organisations such as Griefline and Victims Services, offering support and guidance within diverse professional and community contexts.
Who I work with
I work collaboratively with individuals and professionals across a broad range of sectors, including:
Early learning and education
Women’s and children’s domestic and family violence services
Family support services
Homelessness services
Child protection and early intervention
Palliative Care
Healthcare professionals and community sector workers

My focus is on fostering well-being, building resilience, and reducing the long-term impact of trauma.
As Dr. Bruce Perry so aptly states, “Frequently we cannot change the past developmental trauma. We can change the impacts through providing consistent, predictable and nurturing relationships.” This philosophy guides my commitment to creating safe, supportive spaces where healing and growth can take place.
